# Tax ID requirements for certain countries

For shipments to certain countries (e.g. Brazil, Chile, Mexico), a Tax ID is required by the customs of the destination country.

###### Brazil (CFP/CNPJ)

A Tax ID is required by the Brazil customs for all personal/business shipments to Brazil.

Personal Tax ID (CPF No)
* Portuguese: Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas
* English: Natural Persons Register
* No Format: XXX.XXX.XXX-XX (11 digits)

Business Tax ID (CNPJ No)
* Portuguese: Cadastro Nacional de Pessoas Jurídicas
* English: National Registry of Legal Entities
* No Format: XX.XXX.XXX /XXXX-XX (14 digits)

###### Mexico (RFC)

A Tax ID (RFC No) is required by Mexico customs for all personal/business shipments to Mexico.

* Spanish: Registro Federal de Contribuyentes
* English: Federal Taxpayers Registry
* Format: Typically 13 characters (for individuals) or 12 characters (for businesses), combining letters and numbers.
