# What is the difference between Spaceship Air and Registered Airmail?

Both Spaceship Air (aka Checkout Express) and Registered Airmail are shipped via air mail, but the services are offered by different parties.

In general, it is faster and more reliable than the traditional registered airmail. It will also handle and pre-paid all customs duties and taxes (DDP) beforehand for all US and EU destinations using IOSS. So, it is especially an advantage for customers from US and EU to choose Spaceship Air as the shipping method.

Registered Airmail is the regular airmail service (DAP) provided by the post office. It will also provide end to end online tracking for registered airmail.
