Is it normal for the sense pins to be crossed/twisted in a native 12VHPWR cable?

As shown in the diagram below, sense pins are directly connected pin-to-pin (e.g., pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2, and so on).
In a 12VHPWR (12V-2X6) to 12VHPWR (12V-2X6) cable, the sense pin wires will appear crossed on one side due to this configuration.
To ensure proper alignment, all cable combs should typically be pushed or slid to the side where the sense pins are aligned. This side is intended for connecting to the GPU.
