Should I worry about the 12VHPWR limited service life of 30 connects?
Normally, you should not worry about it.
Because the limited service life (30 connects/disconnects) is NOT a new thing in 12VHPWR only.
In fact, this limited service life specification has already been there since Molex back in tens of years ago. This applies to all the other PC power connectors too, including the traditional PCIE 6pin/8pin connectors.
So, nothing really has changed in term of specifications.
But please remember and make sure the 12VHPWR connector is FULLY inserted.
