What is the recommended cable length?

Everyone is using different hardware and cable routing methods, so there is no definite answer to this. But you may just make use of any cables in hand and simulate how you want to route the cable to confirm what is the perfect length for you.

As a reminder, you should always add a few extra CM when measuring the length due to wire curvature. The cable will work perfectly fine with a few CM more, but it will definitely not work when it is 1cm too short.

The majority of the PSU manufacturers stick with 50cm in average, which is sufficient for most mid-size cases. Of course, other factors such as whether you have a top-mounted or bottom-mounted PSU can impact your cable length requirements.

Below are some ITX/SFF references for you. Some customers ordered these lengths for those computer cases.

These lengths are for your reference only! There are many factors which will affect the required cable length.
