My tracking says delivered, but I haven't received my package. What should I do?

It can be frustrating when tracking updates to "Delivered" but your package is nowhere in sight. Don’t panic, this is a surprisingly common occurrence with shipping carriers!

Here is what you should do step-by-step to locate your shipment.

Step 1: Check Around Your Property & With Others

Before reaching out, double-check all potential drop-off locations:

  • Check alternative delivery spots: Drivers often place items in subtle locations to prevent theft (e.g., side doors, back porches, behind planters, or near garage doors).
  • Check mailboxes or parcel lockers: If your order was delivered via postal service (such as USPS), make sure to check your main mailbox, cluster box, or parcel locker.
  • Ask household members or neighbors: Someone else in your house, building manager, or a neighbor may have accepted or moved the package on your behalf.

Step 2: Contact Your Local Delivery Driver / Post Office

If you still cannot locate the package, contact your local postal branch or courier (e.g., your local USPS, UPS, or FedEx office):

  • Provide your tracking number and request clarification on the delivery.
  • Ask for GPS coordinates or delivery photos: Most modern carriers log the exact GPS location where the package was scanned or take a proof-of-delivery photo.
  • Check with the local carrier driver: The local post office or hub can often contact the carrier driver who was on your route that day to confirm where it was left.

Step 3: Wait 1 to 2 Business Days (Most Important!)

In many cases, carriers prematurely mark a package as "Delivered" while it is still on the delivery truck, accidentally scanned early, or transferred between local routes.

It is very common for the delivery truck or another carrier van to show up later that evening or during the next business day to drop off the actual package.

Real-world example:

Customer: Hey! My order is showing as delivered today, September 8, 2026, at 3:28 PM in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, but I have not received the package. Yeah I check both the mailboxes but nothing in any of them.

Customer: Hey just wanted to update you. Another USPS van came not too long ago and dropped it off it got here at like 530. But anyway thank you and hope you have a good day!

What to Do Next?

If 2 full business days have passed since the "Delivered" scan, you’ve checked with neighbors/local carriers, and the package still hasn't arrived, please contact our customer suppott with your order number. We will gladly look into it and assist you with a solution!
