Why is my order being held by customs in the country?

Sometimes, customs of different countries may select packages for randomly inspections. It is a normal and regular process in many countries.

In most cases, customs will release the package automatically after the random inspection. There is no action required by the consignee.

The speed of inspection depends on the customs, but normally it should be completed within a few days. So you may just wait a few days, and check again for further updates.

But in case there is still no movement from the tracking record after a few days, you may want to contact your local post office with the tracking number. Sometimes, customs of your country may request some additional information from you to speed up the customs process, e.g. your payment record or the invoice.
